Birth
Lucinda Randall, the second child of William and Barbara Randall and
the namesake of her aunt Lucinda Randall, was born on June 9, 1870.
The birth was recorded in the Waterloo County Births, Deaths and
Marriages as recorded 1869-1871, Folio 100, and
in the Ontario Vital Statistics for 1870, #005-400.
Daniel Bormann was the eldest child of Joseph Bormann and
Caroline Frick. He was born in Wellesley and according to his family's entry
in the 1901 Census the date was Oct 12, 1868. Daniel's recorded age
when he first married and his headstone say that he was born one year earlier.

The couple had at least eight children. A son, Frederick was born
prematurely in 1893 and died the next day. The eldest daughter Laura died
in 1905 and is buried at the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery
in Sebastopol (at the north limits of Tavistock, today).

Death
Lucinda gave birth to an unnamed boy in the Berlin-Waterloo hospital
on August 6, 1910. The child was very weak and died eight days later.
The death of Lucinda Randall from birth complications on August 6, 1910 is recorded

Death of Mrs. Bowman
---------------
A sad death took place Saturday
evening at the Berlin-Waterloo Hospital
when Mrs. Daniel Bowman, Queen
St., Waterloo, passed away. Deceased
has been a resident of Waterloo a year,
having formerly lived in Tavistock.
A husband and seven children
survive, the eldest of whom is
sixteen years.
The funeral took place this afternoon
from the residence, Queen St.,
to St. John's Lutheran Church for
service and Mount Hope cemetery for
burial.

After the death of Lucinda, Daniel married a second time to
Caroline L. Schlueter in Elmira on August 16, 1911.
Daniel passed away more than twenty-five years later in Linwood, Ontario
on December 1, 1936. His death was reported in the Daily Record at
the time:

DANIEL BORHMAN
By Record Correspondent.
LINWOOD Dec. 1. -- The death of
Daniel Borhman formerly of Waterloo,
occurred at his home near Linwood,
Wellesley township, this
morning. Mr. Borhman was born in
Wellesley and was in his 70th year.
Surviving are his wife, three sons,
Clarence, Daniel and Milton of
Kitchener, two daughters, Mrs. Clayton
Hannenberg of Guelph, Mrs. C.
Schultz of Elmira, three sisters, Mrs.
Henry Mansz, Kitchener, Mrs. R.
Johnson and Mrs. B. Hawke, Toronto,
one brother, William Borhman of
Brantford, and 18 grandchildren.
The funeral will be held Thursday
at 2:30 from the Letter and Dreisinger
Funeral Chapel, Waterloo, to
Mount Hope cemetery. The remains
will rest at the chapel.
